This structure of wood frames suggests a home and its past occupants. The photograph is my mother, Hop Kun Leo, as a newlywed, age 20 in March, 1948, wearing a traditional silk Chinese dress or cheongsam which she had sewn by hand.
Please note the contemporary and modern pattern of the silk fabric.
