This series is inspired by the events beginning on March 9, 2017, Thursday with the stroke, brain hemorrhage and brain surgery of my sister Fay and the following months until her death on October 20, 2017, Friday. I process my life through my artwork. This series is dedicated to my sister. May she rest in peace.
Where Am I? was exhibited in "Route 1804: Haiti, Heartbeat of the Caribbean", during Art Basel, December, 2017, presented by the Magic City Innovation District in Little Haiti, Miami. The art exhibit was conceptualized by Sandy Dorsanvil and curated by Bart Merrill, MUCE and Marie Vickles, Future Roots Collective.
